Rapture
We are so excited to share our perception of the world through pictures. The little things around us are enchanting. Its capturing joy and magic. It took us so long to choose a name. We wanted it to fit. We wanted it to be perfect.

down in the dumps
so what about those times we are down?
the times we are hopeless
when we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
im trying to have faith.
but faith hasn't made my stomach stop aching.
hasn't stopped my tears from flowing.
hasn't lightened the darkest nights.
but im holding on.
so in the midst of sadness, choose happiness.
tell your aching its not welcome anymore.
tell your tears that you need to save them for another time.
and chase those dark nights out with the light of hope.
most importantly hold on.
because one day, faith will ease your fight.
Sometimes people let you down, or you have an unfortunate circumstance come along that wasn't in your plan. Sometimes you feel completely lost, like you'll never find your way back. And maybe you don't even want to at that moment. Time heals a lot. I used to hate hearing that when I was upset. Still do. But it doesn't change that it is true. That leaves a gap between your circumstance and being all better. Well the gap is there but what you do with it is entirely up to you. You can choose. You're in charge. Don't be held captive from your emotions. Exercise your freedom, and CHOOSE.

In a nice way
You can be honest in a nice way.
Say how you feel in a nice way.
Let someone know they hurt you; in a nice way.
Why do you feel the need to be right? Why do you feel the need to prove a point. Why do you feel the need to be blunt?
People are important. They need to be nurtured and cared for. Listened to and loved. Being right, or prideful should never be at the expense of another. Do you agree? Is being prideful , or proving your point worth making someone feel little even if in fact you are correct? And when you act as such, what does it say about yourself. Surely it reflects on you more than the person you just proved wrong. When you are okay with yourself, there is no need to put another down, to be right, or use sharp tones in any circumstance.

Vulnerable
So I'm trying this new thing. It's called being vulnerable. For me this means working on not keeping people at a distance, not having to be perfect, trying even if I might fail, being able to connect. Your list might be different than mine. It might be the same. I still cringe at the word. My head zooms on auto pilot and connects vulnerability with weakness , which in turn is a direct link to BAD. Vulnerability may mean weak sometimes but weak most definitely doesn't mean bad. I think that's where we get it all mixed up. When you are vulnerable, Yes ,it opens you up to a lot more pain, and hurt and disappointment, (which you don't have to be attached to) But with that, brings in more joy, peace and fufillment from living an honest life.
Remember that... "No matter what gets done and how much is left undone, I am enough. It's going to bed at night thinking, Yes, I am imperfect and vulnerable and sometimes afraid, but that doesn't change the truth that I am also brave and worthy of love and belonging".

The four agreements
Hi . It's been awhile. So let me make it up to you...
Read Slowly, read sincerely ... Now do that again
1. Be impeccable with your word .
Become aware of your thoughts. Become aware of the feelings that follow. Find out if your thoughts are reality. Be honest, even unto vulnerability. " the word is a force; it is the power you have to express and communicate, to think , and thereby to create the events in your life...your word can create te most beautiful dream, or destroy everything around you."
2. Don't take anything personally .
If someone you love insults you, if a stranger gossips about you, if someone intentionally harms you, intentionally hurts you , and any other situation of this nature...don't take it personally. What they say or do in reality has nothing to do with you. " when you make it a strong habit not to take anything personally , you avoid many upsets I your life. Your anger, jealousy , and envy will disappear, and even your sadness will simply disappear if you don't take things personally "
3. Don't make assumptions
We see the world as we are, not as it is. When we don't know, we assume. And then we defend our assumptions as if it were truth. Making assumptions can damper relationships, creates problems within ourselves, and in turn we suffer. "the way to keep yourself from making assumptions is to ask questions. Make sure communication is clear. If you don't understand, ask. " be cautious that you don't already have your assumptions or opinions set as you ask questions. Ask to understand not to place your opinion.
4. Always do your best
No more and no less than your best. When you do your best you are not lazy, but rather put to action the wisdom you know. Focus on tasks individually and choose to do your best each moment, each task, each experience. "Keep in mind that your best is never going to be the same from one moment to the next. Everything is alive and changing all the time, so your best will sometimes be high quality and other times it will not be as good."
